Reading a Fixture Entry Properly

India is UTC+5:30 year-round with no daylight saving, which makes the arithmetic straightforward once you know the venue's offset. Common touring destinations:

Watch the daylight-saving edges. Several of these regions shift their clocks during the year, so an offset that was right in one series may be an hour out in the next. Where to Watch, Without Guessing
Broadcast and streaming rights in cricket are sold territory by territory and cycle by cycle. The consequence is that an article naming a broadcaster is out of date the moment a rights cycle turns over, which is why we name none. The reliable sequence:
- 1Identify the series precisely — the home board is usually the rights seller.
- 2Open the official series or board page and find the listed broadcast partner for your territory.
- 3Go to that broadcaster’s own app, channel or site rather than a link from an aggregator.
- 4If nothing official is listed for your territory, accept that and avoid unauthorised streams entirely.
That last point is worth stating plainly. Unauthorised streams are typically several minutes behind, heavily laden with malicious advertising, and unlawful in many jurisdictions. The saving is not worth what you risk.
Spotting a Fake or Stale Schedule Page
- • No last-updated date anywhere on the page.
- • No named source for the fixture list.
- • Times given without a time zone, or in one zone only.
- • A schedule that still lists a series that has already been played.
- • Odds, tips or “guaranteed” predictions bolted onto a fixtures table.
- • Squad lists that contradict the board's own announcement.
